Galla Jayadev was born on 24th March 1996 in Diguvamagham, Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. He is 56 years old by 2022. In 1986, Jayadev worked as an international sales executive at GNB Battery Technologies in the USA. He set sales and services network for the industrial battery division in Andhra Pradesh.
And in 1992, he started looking at automatic batteries in his Amara Raja company. He started Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL).
